Communicable Diseases

Communicable is defined as "able to be communicated or transmitted" in the American Heritage Dictionary  In the context of disease, the word essentially means "catchable".  A person with a communicable disease is said to be contagious.  Cerebral Palsy is not a communicable disease.  You cannot "catch" it.
